Meeting PoinT
Where will I meet my tour guide?
We will meet in the Mexico side of the border, but don't worry because we have you covered. Your guide will be in direct contact with you via direct text message/email/whatsapp to coordinate your arrival.
Crossing into Mexico is a relatively easy and quick process. As you approach the Mexico Port of Entry, go through the revolving metal gate where you will be greeted by Mexican Immigration Agents who will ask for your passport and assist you with a simple immigration form. Once you have been cleared, proceed ahead and exit the building.
Once you have passed through the port of entry and completed the customs inspection, you will walk a short distance to the main street. Your guide will be easily identifiable by their bright purple umbrella.
Please see video posted below.
How do I arrive to the border?
The best way to arrive to the port of entry is by taking the MTS Blue Line Trolley. You can find the nearest station in San Diego by using Google Maps or visiting the MTS website. Alternatively, you can drive and park your car in a paid parking lot near the border; we suggest either Parking 1 or Parking 2. If you are driving down, make sure to allow at least 20 minutes on weekdays and 30 minutes on weekends to park. Expect to pay between $15-25USD for parking.
Where will the tour guide drop us off?
After our outing, we will drop you off at the U.S. Port of Entry and make sure to explain the steps for re-entry before our farewells.
